Upon maturity and when in the right conditions, these fish have beautiful coloration. The top half of their bodies and their faces are dark gray or black making their golden bellies, reddish-orange fins occasionally flecked with blue, and blue lips really pop. These colors are more blended together and dull in juveniles but the wait for them to grow into their true potential is worth it as it is with all T\u003cem\u003eropheus\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e  Tropheus\u003c\/em\u003e are obligate herbivores, and even small amounts of protein can induce bloating conditions.
